WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND?
We completely understand, just let us know! Our sincerest hope is that no one feels guilty, as you must make the best decision for your family, prior obligations, and your budget. You will be met with total understanding and love from both of us.
HOW LONG CAN I STAY ON THE RESORT?
The room block is available for any dates between 9/5/2024 and 9/12/2024. You can choose the amount of nights you wish to stay.
WHO CAN USE THE ROOM BLOCK?
Unfortunately our room block has closed as of 5/1/2024. If you have any questions, reach out to Gabby or Josh.
WHEN SHOULD GUEST START ARRIVING?
Based on our room block, guests are able to start arriving as early as Thursday, September 5th. We ask that all guests try their best to arrive by Saturday, September 7th.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN AN "ALL-INCLUSIVE" RESORT?
The rate you pay to stay at Hotel Xcaret Arte includes the room, all meals and snacks, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, most entertainment on the property, workshops, shows and Xcaret Park. Please note that some activities will require an additional fee such as spa services or private tours and excursions.
DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO ATTEND?
Since this is an international trip, you do need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. Passports normally take 4-6 weeks to process, but have recently been slowed down due to the pandemic. We suggest applying a minimum of 6 months in advance as a precaution.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Unfortunately, this is an adults only resort. The resort will not accommodate children, because of this, you will have to leave the little ones at home.
AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN FLIGHT?
Yes, guests will be responsible for their own flights. If necessary, Luxury Travel Boutique is willing to assist guests who need additional help finding flights. WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY TO?
Guests can fly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN) or Tulum International Airport. For Cancun, transportation is provided for free by the hotel. If flying into Tulum, you will need to book transportation.
HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE RESORT?
Transportation is provided by Hotel Xcaret Arte. The shuttle airport to hotel to airport departs every 30 minutes from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, and every 60 minutes from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. Once your flight is booked you will need to email Luxury Travel Boutique your flight information so they can coordinate your ground transfer from the airport to the hotel. WHEN SHOULD I LOOK INTO FLIGHTS?
The ideal time is usually 2-8 months out. We suggest shopping around through Hopper, Kayak, GoogleFlights, Skyscanner, and local airlines for best rates.
SHOULD I BRING MONEY FOR TIPS?
Your resort fee has built-in tips for the staff, so while you are not obligated to tip, we recommend to bring at least $100 per guest for tips. Typically tips ($1-$10) are encouraged to show appreciation for shuttle drivers, bartenders, waitstaff, cleaning staff, tour guides and spa staff.
DO THE RESTAURANTS AT THE RESORT HAVE A DRESS CODE?
Yes, the dress code at restaurants falls into 3 categories: Casual – Bermudas, long shorts, or capri pants. Sneakers, tennis shoes or sandals. No sleeveless shirts for men. No bathing suits. Ladies must wear a bathing suit wrap or cover-up. Casual Elegance – Sneakers, tennis shoes, or dress sandals. Dress shirts with sleeves. Long pants required for men. No sleeveless shirts for men. Formal - Dress shirts and slacks for men (needs sleeves). Dress shoes and dress sandals. Please pack accordingly.
