The group campground where the reception will be held has a number of tent sites available for guests, nestled under a canopy of aspen and lodgepole pine, on the shore of pristine Rock Creek Lake. The site requires guests to carry their items from the parking lot and tents will be located near the main reception area.
Guests with small children or those who would prefer more space and privacy are encouraged to book a private site at the adjacent Rock Creek Lake campground which is within a short walking distance of the reception area. Cabins may also be available, or hotels in the town of Mammoth and Bishop (35+ minute drive). Please see other option in the "accommodations" section for details.
Camping is available at the Group Campsite reception area but space will be limited. If you would prefer more room and privacy, have a trailer or RV or have small children, we encourage you to book a site at the main Rock Creek Lake campground. The campground is located on the other side of the lake, just a short walk from the reception site.
Important! Book your site on March 19th at 7:00 am! This is a popular site and they are likely to sell out quickly.
The campsites at Rock Creek Lake sit on a low hill with scattered aspen and lodgepole pine trees overlooking the lake's crystal blue waters. There are a number of other campgrounds located on Rock Creek Road, if the sites at Rock Creek Lake fill up.
