MSU Horiculture Gardens

Michigan State is well known for its innovative horticulture program that has been a part of the school since its beginnings. The MSU Gardens are a fun place to explore and include a children’s garden as well.
Horrocks Farm Market
7420 W Saginaw Hwy Lansing, MI
Horrocks is a family owned market on the west side of town that has fresh produce, specialty grocery items, a huge garden center, and even a beer garden.
Potter Park Zoo

Potter Park Zoo celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2020. With over 20 acres to explore and hundreds of animals to visit there is lots to see and do.
Old Town Lansing
Old Town is Lansing’s original downtown and boutique district. The neighborhood offers lots to do including unique shops, restaurants, bars, and galleries.
R.E. Olds Transportation Museum

The museum is dedicated to R.E. Olds, a leader in Lansing’s automotive history. The museum houses an extensive collection of automobiles, engines, and other automotive materials significant to the transportation history of the region.
Michigan State Capitol Building
100 N Capitol Ave Lansing, MI
Lansing has served as Michigan’s Capital City since 1847. The current legislative building was completed in 1879. The Capitol is open to visitors, Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, as well as the first Saturday of each month, 10am-3pm.
