Ryan and Grace are high school sweethearts who met in newspaper class. Grace was immediately drawn to Ryan. Their relationship started by Grace asking Ryan a million questions during class, to Ryan walking Grace to the lunchroom everyday, and the rest is history.

Ryan (16) was a sophomore and Grace (14) was a freshman in high school. Their first official date was at a NC State vs. UNC baseball game.

Ryan and Grace loved attending Campbell University together for three years. Go Camels!

Ryan played three seasons for Campbell’s baseball team. He graduated in ‘22 with a B.S. in Sports Communication.

Grace graduated in ‘23 with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Health Communication. Grace is currently pursuing an M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama. Roll Tide!

After 6 1/2 years together, it finally happened! At Lake Crabtree County Park, Ryan & Grace got engaged. Earlier in the day, they had brunch at their favorite spot. Ryan told Grace that they were going to go out to dinner with his family that night but wanted to take pictures at a nearby park beforehand. Grace did not expect a thing and was 100% surprised. After the proposal, they met up with their families to celebrate. It was an amazing day!
