What outfits should I pack?
Wedding day formal attire, dressy casual outfit for Friday's dinner, lounge wear for Saturday night, pajamas, bathing suit (if you would like to use the hot tub), and any additional outfits you may want. It will be chilly, so plan accordingly.
What should I wear to the ceremony?
We request that everyone wear formal attire. We would like everyone to look polished and dressy for the group photos. The ceremony and brunch to follow will be outside. Due to the location and time of year, it likely will be chilly. There will be fireplaces and little warming aids, but please plan accordingly. Since we will be in the sun, we are hoping for it to help with warmth. If you have any further questions about the attire, feel free to reach out!
Do you have preferred colors?
If you would like to coordinate with the wedding colors you can wear a range of pinks (not hot pink) or greens. However, definitely do not wear white or anything close to white please lol. For those who want a little more guidance, we have included pictures of some colors below for inspiration (you do not need to choose one of these colors specifically). Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions!
Can I take photos on my phone during the wedding?
We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We kindly ask that you put your phone on silent and completely away during the ceremony to enjoy the moment. We will have a professional photographer on site for the wedding day to capture the day's special moments.
When are RSVPs due?
We ask that you please RSVP by October 23rd. We have grouped many of the family members together on the RSVP list for your convenience so one member can RSVP for the whole family if they choose.
Do you have a registry?
Your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift, but if you feel inclined to give we have linked our registry to this website. Anything would greatly help us start newlywed life off right.
Will you be providing alcohol?
Ryan and Grace do not drink, therefore we will not be providing alcohol. However, you may bring your own wine or beer. There is a Publix nearby if you would prefer to purchase it when you get into town. We recommend purchasing before you drive up the mountain to get to the house. We will be providing coffee, water, tea, and sodas for the weekend.
What are the house rules?
We will have a list of all of the house rules provided by the property host at the house for everyone to look through. The main rules include being respectful of the space and eco-conscious. This mainly means not breaking anything, limiting water usage, and not putting things into the sewage that are not supposed to be there.
Will there be a livestream?
Yes! We completely understand that not everyone is physically able to walk on the steep terrain, take time off of work, and there are many others who are not in attendance because our space is highly limited. Rather than physically traveling to the wedding, you can choose to watch the livestream of the ceremony on November 23rd from home. We are not upset if you would rather celebrate with us online! If you would prefer this option, please let us know ASAP.
Can I bring a plus one?
We only invite those listed on the RSVP. We have maxed out the house's capacity and cannot have more guests beyond those who are listed.
Are pets allowed?
Sadly, no pets are allowed on the property.
