Due to there being a high volume of individuals traveling from the east coast for our wedding, we wanted to provide some recommendations on travel. We look forward to seeing you!
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport
This is the nearest airport to Cedarburg (30 min drive). If this airport is unavailable when booking flights, we encourage you to look at connecting flights from our state neighbors such as ORD (Chicago, IL) or DTW (Detroit, MI).
Matt's note: look to book a flight with either Delta or Southwest - probably the two easiest airlines to work with at MKE.
Hotels
As much as we would love to have everyone stay in our happy little town with us, it is important to note that, per local ordinance, Cedarburg does not have any large or commercial hotels.
The hotels listed below are all local bed and breakfasts, and, while on the larger side, may not be able to accommodate all traveling guests. Between the three bed and breakfasts listed below, there are 46 rooms available. Many of these rooms contain more than one bed, making it suitable for families.
Due to limited space, we are asking guests to make thoughtful choices about staying locally at these Cedarburg-based inns. Over half of our wedding guests are flying in from the east coast, and we would love to have everyone be able to partake in the weekend's activities. Thus, if you live locally and are able to attend our wedding without requiring use of a hotel post-event, we would recommend it. For those visiting from out-of-town, if by the time you go to book these hotels are full, we encourage you to look at local AirBnBs. There are 17 available in walking distance to Washington Street!
Washington House Inn
Located right in the heart of Cedarburg's main street, the Washington House Inn is our number one recommendation for those traveling from out-of-state and is where the shuttle will be dropping off after our wedding. This bed and breakfast hotel includes a wine and cheese social hour, as well as a deluxe continental breakfast. Some other luxurious perks you might find include Whirlpool baths, therapeutic steam showers, and cozy fireplaces.
Due to space restrictions at the hotel, we ask guests to request one room with multiple beds instead of multiple rooms with one bed for larger families, in order to ensure every family can come stay on the main strip if available.
The Stagecoach Inn Bed and Breakfast
Right across the road from the inn mentioned above, the Stagecoach inn is another cozy bed and breakfast on the main strip. A stay at an authentic stagecoach stop makes for a one-of-a-kind experience when combined with the charm and beauty that makes Cedarburg a traveler's destination. All rooms are appointed with period antiques, comfortable beds and private baths. This inn has 9 rooms available ranging for groups from 2-4.
Lilly Pad
The smallest of our three options, this adorable inn has three rooms available for guests! This option also provides a booking discount for members of the military, medical personal, and teachers. This hotel has two single rooms and one double room available.
