For those of you who want to get in early and go for a little adventure- we will have a group of people rafting a favorite local section of the Rogue River in Gold Hill (about 20 min north of Medford). It is a shorter section of the river with some fun class I-II rapids and two class IV rapids for an exciting finish! This is a classic run to do if you are visiting the area for the first time and all of the local guiding companies take large groups on this section. Depending on how many people can come we will do this section or a section that is just as much fun but easier. Unfortunately, we do not have enough personal floatation devices(PFDs) and helmets for everyone. So If you want to come you need to bring or rent your own. A good option for rental is Southern Oregon University in Ashland Oregon, or Orange torpedos in Merlin, Oregon. To be clear this is not a guided trip. We are so excited to share our favorite river with everyone!

The day prior to the wedding we will have a picnic in Lithia Park, Ashland Oregon from 10:00 AM-Noon. There are mountain biking trails, hiking/walking trails, a playground, pickle ball courts and more! We will gather for small bites and coffee to meet and greet family and friends who are coming from near and far. It will be at: Madrone Picnic Area in Lithia Park, which you can search on Google Maps. The closest parking lot is a short walk away or you can walk through the Park from the downtown Plaza, which is about a half a mile walk to the picnic area. Please call if you have any questions!

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Fry Family Farm on a grass lawn. Please wear appropriate shoes.
