But.. if you absolutely insist, we are asking for a donation to a local charity in lieu of a gift for us. I have been volunteering with Horizons for Homeless Children for a few months and I deeply value their mission. They aim to improve the lives of homeless children in Massachusetts and help families succeed by providing high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and comprehensive family support services. A donation to this organization in our name would not only honor us, it would help introduce stability into the lives of these children through allowing them the opportunity to learn, play, and thrive.

We have also created a traditional registry and honeymoon fund because it was just "one more thing" Sandy wanted us to do.
