Truly, whatever makes you feel fabulous. We love some festival flare so if wearing something bold, bright, and a bit funky is your thing, go for it! Have a suit or dress you've been waiting to crack out of the closet for the right occasion? Let our wedding be your excuse! Make sure you are wearing proper footwear. The ceremony and reception is taking place on grass so please plan accordingly.
Can I bring a date?
As much as we'd love to extend this offer, to keep the guest count down we ask that only those included on the invites attend. But we aren't unreasonable. If you have a significant other that we have yet to meet and would like to bring, please reach out to Mitch or Hanah directly.
Can I bring my children?
While we love all your little ones, please leave your children at home if possible. We want parents to treat this as a night out, feeling free to let loose and party! However we understand that some might not be able to attend if they can't bring their children along, and we don't want this to deter anyone from making it out to Montana! The exception to this is our family. Please bring our cousins, nieces, and nephews to be part of the celebration!
Do I need to rent a car?
It depends on what you want to do! If you plan on flying in and hanging out in Bozeman only, rideshares and hotel shuttles should do the trick. You will not need to arrange your own transportation to and from the wedding. If you plan on exploring outside Bozeman, you will definitely need to rent a vehicle.
How far are Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks?
Depending on which entrance, YNP is 1hr 15mins - 1hr 45mins from Bozeman. Know that this weekend will probably be one of the busiest in the park, and plan on a full day of driving (can be 12+ hours), long lines, and crowds. Glacier is much further away (not a day drive from Bozeman) and is something like 5 hours. They use a reservation system to limit the amount of visitors, so look into this ahead of time.
Do I need to buy cowboy gear before I come to Montana?
If you have purchased cowboy boots, a ten gallon hat, or bandanas for this trip, you are doing something wrong. Please do not refer to the show Yellowstone for any factual relevance to our state. If you show up on a plane to Bozeman in western wear, you WILL look like a tourist. Bozeman is not a cowboy town. However, if western gear is your thing, by all means please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
