There's amazing trails along the river and up steam pump mountain right outside downtown Salida. There's 14ers in the distance and more trails than we can name

A natural hot spring resort that's about 30 minutes outside of town

The Arkansas Valley where we'll be staying has some of the best fishing in all of Colorado. There's great fly shops and guided tours in town and fishing right in town.
