Graduation from The College of Wooster

After graduating from the College of Wooster, Hannah and Michael agreed to do one year of distance before deciding the next steps for their relationship. Over the next 12 months the two flew between Indianapolis and Atlanta on a monthly basis, making the most of weekends to strengthen their relationship with each other and their families.

During the year of distance there where many video calls made. Hours were spent on the phone learning to sync the same TV show, cooking recipes together, and even getting ready for bed together.

Michael first visited Bellaire, Michigan in 2018 -- a place Hannah has gone every summer since she was 2 months old! It didn't take Michael long to love the place like Hannah did, and the two have visited every year since!

On their one year anniversary, Hannah and Michael celebrated their first holiday together -- Thanksgiving

After a year of distance, Hannah packed up and moved away from her home in Indiana to move in with Michael in Atlanta.

Hannah and Michael have always appreciated visiting places that are important to each other. Here they are at the floating house on Lake Fontana, which became a safe haven for them during the pandemic

Hannah and Michael moved from Atlanta all the way to Minneapolis in the middle of the pandemic for Hannah to attend graduate school at the University of Minnesota. Even though this meant leaving his hometown, Michael was happy to go with Hannah to support her and continue building their life together. *Picture taken after the 2020, but the point still stands*

While tough, the pandemic ended up bringing Michael and Hannah closer together as they learned to navigate multiple challenges together

Hannah and Michael quickly bonded over their love of water -- especially lakes -- early on in their relationship. After moving to the Land of 10,000 Lakes they don't pass up an opportunity to enjoy the water!

During a camping trip, Michael decided to ask Hannah to marry him.

On October 1st, Hannah and Michael tied the knot in a private ceremony at Spindrift on Lake Bellaire. However, they are counting down the days to May 25th when they can celebrate with all of their family and friends!
