What Should I Wear?
We ask that guests follow our cocktail dress code. However, it should be noted that our ceremony will take place outdoors in a wooded area, and guests may have to walk across gravel and dirt to get there. There will also be outdoor games at the reception. Along with the weather forecast, guests should keep these things in mind when choosing an outfit.
Am I Allowed a Plus One?
We are honored to have you join us for our special day! Due to budget limitations, we are asking that only those named on your RSVP are considered for attendance.
Am I Allowed to Take Photos During the Ceremony?
We ask that you join us in an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
Where Should I Stay?
We have reserved some hotel blocks in Superior and Duluth for guests to stay at. Visit our Travel page for more information on that.
We recommend that our guests stay in Superior or Duluth, which is about 40 minutes from our venue. These cities offer a variety of hotel options, as well as activities to do outside of wedding festivities. If guests would like to opt for staying in an Air BnB or VRBO closer to our venue be advised that May is a busy season in the Northwoods and places may book up quickly.
How can I get There?
We have a shuttle service that will run from Barker's Island Inn, the Hampton Inn, and the St. Croix Inn.
If you opt out of taking the shuttle service, you are welcome to drive yourself, but be advised that you cannot leave your car at the Atrium overnight.
Where Should I Park?
There is a parking lot available at the venue for guests who choose to drive themselves. However, overnight parking is not permitted.
Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?
No. Overnight parking is not permitted.
What Time Should I Arrive for the Ceremony?
Our ceremony begins at 5:00. We ask that guests arrive no earlier than 4:30 for the ceremony.
Where is the Reception and How Long will it be?
The reception is at the same venue as our ceremony -- The Atrium. After the 5:00 ceremony there will be a brief social hour, followed by dinner and dancing. The party goes until 11:00.
Will There be Menu Options for Guests with Dietary Restrictions?
Yes. We chose our caterer based on their ability to adapt to our guests' dietary needs. Please list any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
Where are You Registered?
Please refer to our Registry page.
Where Should we Send our Wedding Gifts?
Please send your wedding gifts to the home address listed with our registry.
