We love the Kansas City Crossroads for so many reasons. It’s packed with great restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee shops, and art galleries. The area is super convenient, with lots of Street Car stops that make it easy to get to other parts of the city. The Crossroads is always buzzing with life and there’s always something fun to do, all within a short walk.
Downtown Kansas City is where the wedding will be, so it’s perfect if you want to stay close to the venue. There are plenty of restaurants and bars, and it’s near many other cool neighborhoods. The city itself has a great mix of historic charm and modern attractions.
The West Bottoms is a one-of-a-kind neighborhood. It used to be the city’s industrial hub, and you can still see that in all the old warehouses that are now trendy restaurants, bars, and vintage shops.
The Kansas City River Market is always lively, with tons of great places to eat and drink. On weekends, the farmer’s market is a must-visit, with lots to see and taste. It’s right by the Missouri River, making it a great spot for long walks by the water.
Columbus Park is a hidden gem. It’s more of a family neighborhood, but it still has its share of fantastic restaurants. Plus, it’s really close to the River Market, so you have plenty of other dining options nearby.
The Westside neighborhood is similar to Columbus Park, with a local vibe and some great restaurants and coffee shops. It’s just off downtown, so you’re still close to all the action.
Strawberry Hill is a quieter area with great dive bars and local spots. It’s a bit further from the touristy stuff, which makes it perfect for a more local experience.
West 39th Street is the furthest from downtown, but it makes up for it with a bunch of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and local stores, all within walking distance.
