Things to Do

The Temple of Saint Sava

This is the biggest Orthodox church in Serbia and also one of the largest churches in the world. The inside is beautiful with gold and colors. When you go make sure you cover your shoulders in respect to the church. A simple scarf or shirt will do!

Where we are having our reception! But also...

This historic site offers a fantastic view of the city and the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. It also houses the Kalemegdan Park, the Military Museum, and the Belgrade Zoo.

Stroll on Knez Mihailova Street

This bustling pedestrian zone is filled with shops, restaurants, and street performers. It's a great place to people-watch and soak in the city atmosphere. This is a main street in the area we are located. It is the most famous and busiest street in Belgrade. Stores like Zara, Starbucks, and the mall, but just best to walk around and explore.

Walk around Skadarlija

This bohemian quarter is known for its charming cobblestone streets, art galleries, and cafes. This is a fun area to grab dinners, drinks, and enjoy live music. A fun atmosphere always. Our favorite spot!

The last custom perfumery of Belgrade! Nenad is the owner and will mix you your own perfume custom to what you like. It is a fun process that we both enjoyed. Make sure to take cash, we don't think they take card.

Nikola Tesla Museum

You can take the tour in both English and Serbian! Make sure you choose the right one. Novak and I went to this museum in 2021 and it was fun to learn about the history.

Museum of Yugoslavia

It is home to many artifacts detailing the history of Yugoslavia, including the life and work of Josip Broz Tito. We have not been here, but on our to-do list.
