Driving & Parking

If you're driving to the wedding please use the postcode for either the church (IP29 5QH) or Chevington Lodge Farm (IP29 5QL) depending on where you'd like to park. Please see below for a map showing the location of both the house and the church.

Option 1 - Driving and parking at Chevington Lodge Farm

Follow Google maps until you arrive at 'IP29 5QL' - this should take you to a postcode on New Road. Once at this postcode you should see a sign for the wedding which will take you down a gravel drive.

There will be plenty of parking available at the house and you will be able to leave your car here for the duration of the wedding and reception. It's a ten minute walk from the house to the church and there will be a "walking bus" leaving the house for the church at 13:15 - please be parked and ready by this time if you'd like to join the walking group!

Option 2 - Driving to All Saints Chevington

You can drive directly to the church where there is also parking - you'll be able to park your car here but will need to move it after the ceremony and park it at Chevington Lodge Farm. If you're planning to do this option please let us know so we can make sure there's enough parking reserved for family and friends with accessibility needs.

Trains

The nearest train station to the venue is Bury St Edmunds.

From London, you *should be able to take a train from Kings Cross to Bury St Edmunds (with a change at Cambridge). This train usually takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Train services from Birmingham and further North will usually either go via London or involve a change at Cambridge or Ely.

From Bury St Edmunds train station it's a 20 minute drive to the church or the house - we strongly advise pre-booking a taxi rather than relying on public transport! Please note Uber/Bolt have not arrived in Bury St Edmunds yet!

* Unfortunately we can't predict what chaos may happen to the National Rail network on the day of the wedding so please check the National Rail Journey Planner nearer the time to make sure trains are running and there aren't rail replacement services!
