The couple met the first day of school at North Garland High School, where their incredible journey began. Heather was a senior Rebellious and strong spirited and Justin was a freshman quiet and shy. They first locked eyes in our first period homeroom, and they both knew right then and there that something special was about to unfold. The first time they spoke, Justin asked to borrow a pencil, and Heather was struck by the kindness in his blue eyes. Justin had a strangely calming effect on her. As Justin also adored her fiery attitude. They both felt an undeniable attraction, and before long, they were exchanging sweet notes and spending more time together. Though the age difference posed a challenge after Heather turned 18, they wisely decided to remain friends.

After losing touch for a few years following graduation, They reconnected and became close friends, regularly catching up and sharing updates about our lives. Heather went on to have two amazing boys, while Justin had a handsome son and a beautiful daughter. Then, in the fall of 2020, fate brought them together once again, and they both found themselves single and ready to rekindle their romance. They started with Facebook chats, which quickly turned into texts, and soon they were lost in all night conversations, laughing and reminiscing about old times. Justin still having a calming effect, and Heather still having that Fire he loved so much. Their connection was undeniable, and they officially became a couple on February 6, 2021. As the COVID-19 pandemic brought them closer together, they decided to take the leap and move in together in April. It was a decision that felt right, and they were grateful to have found a sense of comfort and routine together. When they introduced their children to each other later that month, it felt like the missing piece of the puzzle had finally fallen into place.
