We met freshman year when we both joined Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPsi) our professional business fraternity. We were friends throughout our pledge semester and enjoyed attending the different events from volunteering in the community, networking with company professionals and of course the social events.

Between Freshman and Senior year Helen studied abroad in Singapore and Jon in Vienna so we became less active within the business fraternity. It wasn't until senior year when we both went on the senior trip to Nashville that we reconnected. The initial conversations started over our mutual lack of knowledge and preference for country music as all our friends belted the lyrics to every country song playing. From there it was a passion for new adventures, our love of good food and active hobbies that brought us closer.

Both of us adore traveling so as college graduation neared and we planned post-grad trips, we planned a portion of the trip together (Santorini & Southern France).
