For those returning to Waco for the first time since graduating, our wedding weekend is the perfect chance to revisit our favorite spots from back in the day and see what’s new on Baylor’s campus. Start your nostalgia tour at the new Hurd Welcome Center for a classic Dr Pepper Float and a warm Baylor welcome. Whether you're strolling through Fountain Mall, visiting McLane Stadium or Foster Pavilion, or reminiscing in the SUB or BSB, take some time to soak in the memories.
No trip to Waco is complete now without a stop at Magnolia Market at the Silos! Whether you’re a fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines or just love a good shopping and dining experience, the Silos offer everything from unique home decor and boutique gifts to delicious treats from Magnolia Bakery. Stroll through the beautiful grounds, grab a bite at one of the food trucks, shop for that wedding present you forgot, and soak in the charm of this iconic Waco destination.
For those (talking to Hena's side) looking for a relaxing hike or great workout during the wedding weekend, checkout the Cameron Park for some beautiful trails and stunning overlooks.
Beyond Baylor University and Hena's hometown, Waco is perhaps most famous for being the birthplace of Dr Pepper! Visit the Dr Pepper Museum to explore the history of this iconic soda and the soft drink industry. With interactive exhibits and a chance to enjoy a classic Dr Pepper float, it’s a must-see for soda lovers—and, dare we say, way better than the World of Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta!
We challenge you to find a better Burrito in town!
Located in the parking lot across from Dichotomy.
The best Taco Truck in town (at least from 2012 to 2016).
Full disclosure, prices have gone up since graduating 😞
A must stop on the way into or out of town! Or late night (open 24/7) on the way back to the hotel after the reception.
