FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
WHAT IS A SAVE THE DATE?
A Save the Date is simply the date we ask you reserve in your calendar. Please expect a formal invitation to follow June 2024.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is cocktail attire, no need for floor length gowns or your best suit, but also no jeans please. A reminder to please save the color GREEN for the wedding party and to abstain from wearing it!
CAN I WEAR WHITE, IVORY, OR CREAM COLOR ATTIRE?
No, please let the bride have her day and wear any other color (other than white or green)
WHAT KIND OF SHOES DO I WEAR?
Wear any shoes that are comfortable! The venue is quite expansive and there will be a short walk from the ceremony site to the reception site. Also a block heel or wedges are recommended over stilettos as there will be some grassy areas that will be harder to navigate in certain shoes.
WILL THE WEDDING TAKE PLACE INDOORS OR OUTSIDE?
The ceremony and reception will both take place outside- so please plan accordingly- New England weather can vary in October! There will be a large tent for the reception.
WHEN DO I RSVP BY?
Please RSVP by no later than September 13, 2024 by using the QR code on your invitation or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T RSVP IN TIME?
If we do not get an RSVP back by September 13, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us; however, we have to provide the total guest count to our venue and vendors in a timely manner. Due to that we will not accept late RSVP's, we hope that you understand!
CAN I BRING A DATE?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
ARE KIDS INVITED?
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use the evening and/or the weekend as a well deserved "night out!"
IF I AM SICK, SHOULD I COME?
We have people coming from everywhere so we know that despite feeling ill, you may feel inclined to come. With that being said, October is approaching, cold & flu season as well as COVID surges. If you experience, cough and cold symptoms such as runny nose, sore throat, head ache, fever and chills, please refrain from coming and let us know. We wish you well and we will make sure you get to witness our wedding in other ways. We have vulnerable populations that we do not wish to expose to illnesses and we hope you understand.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?
Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP "Decline." If you have RSVP'd attending, but find that you will not make it, please notify Miranda or Ian via text or call ASAP. Thank you.

OKAY I'M HERE. NOW WHERE DO I GO?
Please look at the picture of the map below so you know where to go for the ceremony!
WHAT TIME IS THE WEDDING?
The ceremony will begin at 4:45 pm. Please feel free to arrive earlier to explore the park, park your car and find your seat. Cocktails, dinner and dancing will follow.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony(no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present and witnessing our moment as we say "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we would be upset for any well intentioned guests' phone to block their views. We promise to share our photos with you as soon as we receive them.
After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like! We invite you to share them with us via text or on social media! However, we kindly request that guests do not post any photos of the Bride and Groom on social media until we have had the opportunity to do so first. Thank you for your understanding!
