Due to the number of guests in the immediate surrounding area, we have decided to NOT book a traditional hotel block. With that, we have included some suggestions for nearby our wedding venue. Please make sure you book in a timely manner (our venue is near some CT colleges and October is commonly Parents Weekend season.)
** NOTE: We do not want the cost of lodging to deter you from coming so please send us your receipt and we will help fund your fees as needed.

Feel what it was like living a society life in pre-WWI New England. Our bed and breakfast is a modern restoration of a great house built in 1914. Set on the property's original 4 acres, we are minutes from beaches, the Eugene O'Neil Theater Center and Harkness Park, a popular wedding venue. Mystic Connecticut attractions and the Mohegan Sun Casino are about 20 minutes away.
The Niantic Inn is a 24 room seaside hotel that is quietly located in the heart of Niantic. Located a stone's throw from the Beach and Boardwalk, it makes a great place to relax and enjoy all that New England has to offer. Walk to the movies, restaurants, fast food, gift shops and boat marinas... a perfect place to get away to unwind, or an ideal place for long or short-term business stays.
"Located on a fourteen-acre landscaped valley overlooking the picturesque Niantic River in Connecticut. We offer guests a unique alternative to the hotel lodging experience with full-service private cottages."
Bradley Airport located in "Hartford" is an hour away from Waterford and considered the "closest" and "largest" airport in Connecticut! You can rent a car and drive or let Miranda/Ian know and we can coordinate a ride for you!
Alternatively, if you prefer Bradley International Airport is accessible via the Hartford Line. The Hartford Line rail service offers daily travel between New Haven, Hartford and Springfield, MA. The service is provided with a combination CTrail and Amtrak trains. Convenient connections are available in New Haven to New Haven Line, Amtrak Acela and Northeast Regional, and Shore Line East rail services. The closest station to Bradley International Airport is in Windsor Locks (South Main Street at Stanton Road), only three miles away, and is accessible by Route 24 Bus Service. The Union Station in Hartford, only 30 minutes away, is also accessible via the Bradley Flyer Bus Service .
Newark Liberty International Airport is located in Newark, NJ and although is farther and out of state, you can hop on the Amtrak train from Newark Airport straight to New London Amtrak Station.
Boston Logan International Airport similar to Newark is also about 2 hours away from the venue. Just like Newark, you can hop onto an Amtrak Northeast or Acela train from the airport to the New London Station!
New London Station is just 10 minutes from our wedding venue site! Simply take the Amtrak Northeast Regional or the Acela from Boston South Station or New York Penn Station-its about 2 hours in either direction!
