A 90-year tradition, the Peabody ducks visit the Peabody hotel lobby fountain every day from 11AM to 5PM each day. We recommend being there 30 minutes before 11AM or before 5PM to see them in action.

Walk to Arkansas and across the mighty Mississippi! Big River Crossing is an easy walk for all ages; round trip is ~2 miles. Located 5 minutes from Tom Lee Park and 10 minute drive from the Peabody, free parking is available at the start of the trail.

Home to 3,500+ animals, the Memphis Zoo invites you to travel the world through its animal exhibits. The zoo is located right next to Overton Park, a family friendly park with lots of green space, a playground, and great golfing spot.

An interactive, kid-friendly environment, the Fire Museum is located in the legendary Fire Engine House No. 1. All ages can try on turnout coats and helmets, play on authentic fire equipment, drive a fire engine simulation to a fire, and slide down a brass fire pole. Located in downtown Memphis, it is a 10 minute walk from the Peabody hotel.

The National Civil Rights Museum traces the history of the civil rights movement in the United States from the 17th century to the present. Connected to the Lorraine Motel, the museum and heritage site are a moving visit for all interested.

For all outdoors lovers, this Bass Pro includes a hotel and roof top bar, where one can stand out on top of the Mississippi river. You can't miss the giant pyramid from downtown Memphis!

Tom Lee Park includes plenty of room to run and explore and a playground for all ages. Located next to the Mississippi River, the park provides a unique view of downtown. Free street parking is available.
