Those of you travelling across the pond, we would recommend using the following routes of travel:

(1) Flying direct to Aalborg

Best flight routes:

- London Stansted to Aalborg (Ryanair)

(The flights have now been released, flying Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in July 2024).

(2) Flying direct to Billund

- London Stansted to Billund (Ryanair)

The flights have been released, and there are direct flights everyday (and multiple times a day) in July 2024.

- Manchester to Billund (Ryanair)

The flights have now been released, in Summer 2024 the flights are on Tuesday and Sunday.

(3) Flying to Aalborg, with a connection through Copenhagen.

- London Gatwick to Copenhagen (Easyjet)

- London Stansted/Luton to Copenhagen (Easyjet)

- London Heathrow to Copenhagen (British Airways)

- Manchester to Copenhagen (Easyjet, Ryanair)

The flights for 2024 have been released for all the above routes. Flight companies fly multiple times a day to Copenhagen, every day of the week.

- Copenhagen to Aalborg (DAT, Norweigan Air). Flights are roughly 1 per hour. DAT flights appear to be the cheapest option currently (though flights have not yet been released for July 2024).

Aalborg is a 30 minute drive from Sebber Kloster.

Billund is a 2 hour 15 minute drive from Sebber Kloster.

Car hire is available from both Aalborg and Billund airports.

If you are hoping to take a trip to Copenhagen as part of your adventures in Denmark, there is also the possibility of taking the "scenic route" with both busses and trains running from Aalborg to Copenhagen. If you're looking to save money, this is likely the cheapest option - please check Flixbus/Kombardo Expessen for busses and DSB for trains.

We will arrange transportation for you to and from Aalborg airport (where possible). Please include the flight details on your RSVP.
