Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding and reception will be held outdoors. Expect areas to have grass and gravel.

Are children allowed?

As much as we’d love to invite all of the children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We are asking that guest refrain from bringing children, unless noted on your invitation. We hope that you understand our decision, and are still able to join us on our special day.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Cocktail black attire. We ask women to wear black dresses. Men can wear white shirts. Plan footwear to be appropriate for grass and gravel.

What Should You Expect if Arriving on Friday?

We intend to celebrate in a "cabin-weekend" style! If you know Northern Minnesota, you know what we're talkin' about! Friday is completely optional to our guests. We understand your time is valuable and intend for Friday to be a welcome and rehearsal-based day. There will be a welcome dinner for the guests in attendance (RSVP-req'd) and a big bonfire once the sun goes down.

What Should You Expect If Arriving on Saturday?

Saturday will be the wedding day. Expect a traditional wedding schedule with the ceremony in the early afternoon, cocktail hour to follow, and dinner after that.

We'd love for all of our guests to make it to this one!

Expect a big dance in the woods after dark! (Don't worry) The dance will be in a covered but open-air concrete pavilion. This is about a two-minute walk from the main area. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Is it required to stay on site?

It is not required at all. The lodging section will cover on-premise and off-premise options!

Which airport should you fly in?

We recommend flying into MSP due to better flight availability. Brainerd airport is a smaller airport with less available flights but is 25 minutes from the venue. MSP is roughly a 2-hour drive from the venue.

How do we get from MSP Airport to the Venue?

We're currently in conversations with shuttle companies to look at group rides to and from MSP Airport. Nothing is settled but there is more to come. Renting a car is also an option. We encourage group travel if possible!
