A whole weekend? How is this going to work?
We appreciate that we have guests travelling from all over the world to be there for our big day. This is a group of people that may not ever all be in the same place at once and we want to make the most of it! For our closest family and friends, we would love to have you join us for the whole weekend at North Cadbury Court.
Friday the 6th will be a casual welcome party, Saturday the 7th is the big day and Sunday the 8th we'll be able to recover from the big day together. We have to leave the house on Monday the 9th.
When do I have to RSVP by?
The latest we'd ideally like guests to RSVP by is March 1st 2024. Because of the logistics of a weekend-long event, the earlier you can confirm your attendance the better.
The sooner we hear back on rsvp's, the sooner we can make sure that we allocate every room on the property to those that can make it. Check out the Getting to the Venue page for loads of additional accommodation options.
You can RSVP right here on our website on the RSVP page if you've received your invite, or if you know sooner please do email us at kaseyandjameswedding@gmail.com.
Where should I stay?
North Cadbury Court can only accommodate a certain number of our closest family and friends. It is for this reason that we ask for RSVPs as soon as possible so we can make sure we fill the house with as many guests as possible.
For those that we can't squeeze in, please check out the options on the Travel/Accommodation page.
It will be clear on your invitation if we're able to accommodate you staying on property at the moment, but if things change we'll be reaching out as soon as we can.
When can I arrive for the weekend?
The venue will be ready to start receiving guests from 4pm on Friday the 6th.
We understand with lots of travel that some guests may need to arrive earlier, no problem, send a text to Kasey or James, or email kaseyandjameswedding@gmail.com. We'll need extra helping hands anyway!
Are you having a welcome party?
Yes! Be ready to mingle and catch up while recovering from your travel. Settle in, freshen up, and make your way downstairs. Let's get this party started!
Can I bring a plus one?
Unless you receive a plus one in your invite, we can't accommodate other guests to keep within our budget.
Can I bring my children?
Outside of a few very close family children, we prefer to have the weekend kid-free.
What do we do for food for the weekend?
The manor house is ours for the weekend! We'll be stocking it with some essential food, snacks and drinks and guests can help themselves in the kitchen. Make yourself at home and tuck in.
What is the dress code for the wedding day?
For Saturday, the day of our ceremony and reception, come dressed to impress! Formal or semi-formal, as long as you feel your best.
Anything else I should pack to wear?
For the rest of the weekend, be ready with an outfit for a casual welcome party on Friday, a bbq on Sunday, and a bathing suit for the pool and hot tub. You may also want to bring some outdoor clothes and walking shoes to explore the surrounding estate.
We want you to feel your most comfortable and best self the whole weekend.
What will the weather be like?
Early September in the UK should still be reaping the final days of summer sunshine and temperatures (Knock on wood!). Although knowing the UK weather, it's always best to come prepared for a sprinkling of rain just in case.
When and to where should I book my flights?
We recommend booking flights as soon as you're able to. Specifically for international flights as the prices will only increase as the date gets closer.
Flying into Gatwick Airport puts you closest to the venue. Heathrow Airport, while a little further from the venue, is also a great option to be close to London and make your way down on trains.
Is parking available at the venue?
Yes! North Cadbury Court has ample parking if you are driving down. It is down the drive on the left-hand side before you reach the house.
I have dietary restrictions for the weekend. What should I do?
We have a few veggie guests in attendance that we'll be accommodating.
If you have any other food allergies or dietary restrictions send a text to Kasey or James, or email kaseyandjameswedding@gmail.com.
Can I take photos and share them on social media throughout the weekend?
Share and snap away! We want all of the photos of our big weekend that we can possibly get. The only time we'd prefer to stay unplugged is durring our ceremony on Saturday.
Am I staying on property at North Cadbury?
