The Pont du Gard is an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge in southern France, constructed in the 1st century AD to carry water over the Gardon River to the city of Nîmes. Standing 49 meters high with three levels of arches, it showcases the incredible engineering skills of the Roman Empire. This is roughly a 20 minute drive outside of Uzes!
