This love story starts like many others: With a worldwide pandemic. Stuck in his home in April of 2020, Brett was on Hinge when he saw Jasmin's profile for the first time. It would not be the last, as he would shut the app anytime he saw her profile so he could craft the perfect opening message for her. After 3 days of repeating this process, he finally sent her a message. Jasmin would later tell him it was an okay opener, but not worth three days of work.

For the next few months, they would chat and watch bad movies together online as they tried to grow their relationship from the safety of their homes. When they finally met in person, they quickly felt the same comfort they'd had online. It all felt effortless in the best way possible.

Interest turned to love before the couple met each other's families, took vacations together, and eventually moved in together. It all came to a head when, in a rose petal-covered Parisian hotel, Brett dropped to one knee and asked Jasmin to be his wife.
