Where are we staying for the wedding?

We’ll all be together at Lakedale Resort on San Juan Island, a dreamy little slice of the Pacific Northwest. Picture glassy lakes surrounded by tall evergreens, stargazing at night, and that cozy “camp vibes meet boutique lodge” feeling. It’s one of those places that feels both adventurous and relaxing—like summer camp for grown-ups.

How do I get there?

MOST IMPORTANT: Book your ferry as soon as possible! Spots are going fast! YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COME TO THE WEDDING IF YOU DO NOT CATCH THE FERRY. They open up for reservation in blocks in the months leading up to August, so keep checking the website. We recommend taking the noon ferry or earlier on Friday from Anacortes to Friday Harbor (2pm at the very latest). https://wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/scheduledetailbyroute.aspx?route=ana-sj-sid From Seattle, you’ll drive about 90 minutes north to Anacortes, then hop on a one-hour ferry ride to Friday Harbor. (Pro tip: make a ferry reservation early—spots fill up fast, especially if you’re bringing a car on!) It's also recommended to take the earliest ferry possible, just in case any get cancelled or are late. We'd hate for you to miss anything! Once you’re on San Juan Island, it’s just a quick drive to the resort. If you don’t bring a car, someone will be able to come get you.

When should I arrive and leave?

Totally up to you! You’re welcome to make a vacation out of it. Just note that Lakedale is reserved for wedding guests starting August 14th. You’re welcome to come earlier and stay off-site, or hang out on the island longer after the wedding weekend wraps.

What’s the game plan for the weekend?

We’ve got a fun itinerary lined up - think water bikes on the lake, hiking, s'mores under the stars, and plenty more. But if you want to sneak away and explore, we’ll also share our favorite island activities: buzzing around in moped buggies, boutique shopping in town, or a visit to the Whale Museum (Jasmyne’s personal fave).

How much will accommodations cost, and how many people can they fit?

Depending on your group size, you will be assigned accommodations from the following: • Log Cabins: Comfortably fit 4 (2 bedrooms + sleeper sofa). • Yurts: Fits 3 people (1 King bed and a sleeper sofa) If you have preference on which accommodation you are assigned, let us know and we will see if we can adjust! When these accommodations are reserved, we will open up more. So if none of these work for your group, there will be more soon that might work better! We just have to fill these first. Lakedale requires a two-night stay for accommodations, so if you’re only coming for the ceremony day, for example, you would have to stay off sight for the night. The cost of the rooms will be divided equally for everyone: The cost will be approximately $151 per adult per night, and $75 per child per night. And of course, our priority is having you there. If cost is the only thing standing in your way, let us know privately.
