There are many great options for accommodations right at the Base Area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The Base Area is a central location on the Mountain and is 0.25 miles from the Huvard house. The Base Area is where shuttles will pick up and drop off guests for transportation to and from the venue on the mountain.
Crested Butte Mountain is owned by Vail Resorts, so the Vail owned properties at the Crested Butte Base Area -- The Grand Lodge, The Lodge at Mountaineer Square, and the Plaza -- have a group block rate available to our guests (20% off retail price at time of booking). This group rate is available for bookings from Thursday, June 20th - Wednesday, June 26th. You must book through Vail (via phone or through our unique link below), not the individual hotels, to get the group rate.

There is one other hotel at the Base Area, The Elevation Hotel, which is NOT Vail owned. We have a separate group block for this hotel. This is where Hannah & Jason will be staying over the wedding weekend! Scroll down for our Elevation Hotel specific group code & to book using our unique link.
If you prefer a short term house rental, you’re welcome to book through Airbnb or VRBO - there are rental houses both on the mountain and in town.
If you prefer to stay in town, we can recommend other hotels, but these will not come with a group block rate.
Grand Lodge Hotel Crested Butte
The Grand Lodge Hotel and Suites is only 200 yards from the slopes and offers exceptional amenities including, full-service front desk, on-site grab-and-go dining, ski valet, business center, and swimming pool with hot tub.
The Grand Lodge is directly across from the main Transit Center at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort Base Area, which provides free shuttle service to the town of Crested Butte. This full-service hotel features 228 spacious rooms and suites, most with resort kitchenettes.
Lodge at Mountaineer Square
Located at the Base Area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, the Lodge at Mountaineer Square offers mostly condo-style lodgings. Choose from 1, 2, or 3 bedroom condos, studio rooms or standard hotel rooms. Amenities include enclosed heated parking and a business center. The Lodge is the heart of Mountain Square and only 100 yards from the Red Lady Lift.
The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is also located at the main Transit Center at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort Base Area, which provides a free shuttle service to the town of Crested Butte.
The Plaza Condominiums by Crested Butte Mountain Resort
Located near the Silver Queen lift at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort Base Area, The Plaza offers 2 and 3 Bedroom Condos with Short walk to the lifts - (most Condos sleep 6+).
The Plaza is unique for its condominium setting with hotel style services. Spacious 2- and 3- bedroom suites include everything you need to be independent, while on-site check-in, a restaurant and bar, covered parking and two hot tubs provide all the benefits of a hotel.
Elevation Hotel & Spa

The discounted group rate for the Elevation Hotel is available on Sat. 6/22 and Sun 6/23 and is available for standard rooms with 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. Nightly rates are available +/- 3 days of the contracted dates (6/22 & 6/23) subject to space & availability,

The Elevation Hotel is a full service hotel located at the Base Area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort. All guest rooms are suites, featuring kitchenettes with refrigerators and microwaves.
Amenities and services include a swimming pool, hot tub, wireless internet, Spa treatments, Fitness Center, bell and concierge services. There is also an on-site restaurant, José Crested Butte, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also a lobby bar and outdoor bar with accompanying fit pit.
