Caitlin Herbison
Caitlin Herbison - Matron of Honor
In case y’all didn’t know…Caitlin is my big sister 🤪 I’m so thankful God gave me a sister, and not just any sister. Caitlin is the most thoughtful, caring, loyal, silly and selfless person to everyone around her. She is the best at celebrating others and making sure everyone is having fun. She has been an inspiration to me growing up in so many ways and I love that we are best friends now too and continue to grow closer. I wouldn’t trade our countless weekends spent running errands, trips, laughter, and even tears shared over the years. Something I love most is how she has always made Carlos feel like part of our fam since the beginning. I feel so proud to be her little sister and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect MOH to stand by my side
Natalia Cadena
Natalia Cadena - Best Woman
Natalia has been the best big sister I could have ever asked for. Growing up, Nati was a second mother that I could always depend on and call upon when help was needed. Her ambition, execution, and big dream personality set an example early on to go chase those adventures and dreams. Truly paving the way for my personal growth as a human, always offering life advice and as a mentor on how to maneuver through the art of exploring and pushing ones comfortability for personal growth. Having Natalia by my side on one of life's biggest moments is a no brainer, she is the true definition of a Day 1. I am lucky to call my sister one of my best friends!
Cami Studebaker
Cami Studebaker - Bridesmaid
Cami has been my bestest friend since Kindergarten (over 20 years!!) and we’ve been side by side ever since. I look back at so many memories growing up and most of them involve Cami. We truly had so much fun growing up together and experienced so many highs and lows, and have never wavered from our friendship. Post college, we were roomies for 2 years before moving in with our now Fiancés (#bestieswithbling). She is the definition of a true friend and is strong, loyal, funny and caring. If I ever need a wine night in, walk, or just someone to talk to I know I can always ask Cami as she’s one of the first people I typically text or call.
Grant Vlahos
Grant Vlahos - Groomsmen
GMO MO Hard to say I have a best friend throughout all my amazing friends, but if I HAD to give an award, it'd be Grant. The first time I met grant was in Freshman year football practice, we lined up against each other for an Oklahoma style drill (We hit each other so hard that coach said great job to both of us, we killed it!) I wouldn't cross paths with Grant until 2 months later when Austin Kaiser and I were discussing adding members to our dodgeball team before first period bell rang (The Jelly Beans). Grant approached Kaiser to say hi, I looked at Grant and then kaiser and said "What about him?" That was as clear as a start to a friendship as I can remember. Grant and I hung out almost everyday since that moment. Grant was one of the few vocal democrats (along with Fix) that could actually cared about voicing their own opinions and cared about the world out side the suburban bubble. Voicing those opinions and developing one owns thoughts changed me, so thank you for paving the way... Grant was also my Basketball mentor, it's actually funny to think about our 1vs1 games during hs/college (Post ups and layups, midrange) and the level it escalated to post college (Steph Curry changed the game) Would love to have a running count of Wins/Losses. Experiencing life with Grant has been a true gift, whether its our travels, crazy hikes (I lead him off the wrong side of a mountain once, 10 hr mistake), being movie critics, concerts, going out, competing vs each other, or just simply sitting on the couch and enjoying time with our presence. Grant's brothers (Family dogs Emmitt & Otis) were the reason I wanted a doodle and adopted my Memphis boy. I loved those 2 lads. Grant is also super focused in his profession and might be the most successful if it were a contest. His focus on his career and elevating is something I respect and taken note of, a great example of what hard work and sacrifices can lead towards. Grant and I have shared so much together that we are almost the same. I've been figuring out life with Grant for so long now that it's only just that he stands by me on this journey.
Nikki Gowdy
Nikki Gowdy - Bridesmaid
Nikki and I became best friends in high school and I can’t imagine the past 10+ years without her. We were the two always down to hangout in high school and over college breaks, so we have so many hilarious, weird and fun memories together. From driving around jamming to music with the windows down, to parties (shhh), Mexico (#gede), spring breaks, OU & ARK visits, concerts and just hanging out and catching up, I’m so thankful to have Nikki as a forever friend. She is genuine, trustworthy, strong, adventurous and one of the best friends anyone could have.
Jake Martinez
Jake Martinez - Groomsmen
Jake (aka Yolo Martinez) is a natural gem of a human. Always eager to help when people are in need since the first time we met... We have bonded throughout the years over music, competitions, sports, but most importantly humor/comedy. We are still so close to rolling out a hilarious comedy pilot, we've been stashing deep layered jokes for years that are pure gold. Without a doubt, I have laughed the hardest with Jake, and it's consistent. Martinez is an A1 friend, he is thoughtful, caring, and listens. Giving advice when needed. I've always been lucky to have Jake always down the street, hanging out during week nights "just kicking it like it's FIFA homie". Jake's presence always shines in a room and is just great company to always have around. Personality wise, we are one in the same. Jake keeps a cool head when stressed and doesn't take life too serious when it's not meant to. He is a great example of how having a positive energy and people skills can help you succeed in life. Although now residing in the ATL for some time, his energy lives on here in Dallas and is always a call or text away. With him, but also with most our friend group, time may pass, but it's always like we never missed a beat when we see each other again.
Natalie Gilbert
Natalie Gilbert - Bridesmaid
Nat has been one of my best friends since middle school and I’ve been so lucky to have grown up with her. She is down for a fun time, wild, kind, athletic, easy going and a dancing queen…all of which I love about her. From sixth street and Austin trips, concerts, Mexico with fam, lake days and everything in between, we’ve had so much fun together. I’m so thankful to have had Nat in Dallas these past few years, because we’ve continued to stay so close and I know we’ll continue laughing and saying inappropriate jokes even when we’re old. Love my "yes" girl and I know she'll be a forever bestie.
Harper Reid
Harper Reid - Groomsmen
HOOP! Harper and I are aligned on setting challenging goals, and going out there and achieving them. The man might be one of the most relaxed guys out there, but with a competitive nature that fuels him to go search for things only dreamed of. Harper and I have a similar music taste, demeanor, and itch to push the limits. I have had Harper by my side for moments of great personal growth, and I'll keep having him there. Someone I can always count on, but even more, a true example of being humble, flexible, and enjoying the small moments in life. Memorable Experiences: 13 hr Narrow's hike, Countless Concert Experiences, Euro 2016 Trip (Harper's Excel/Planning truly shined here), Countless 14ers ( Especially the time we carried Memphis up a mountain) Harper is someone I can sit in silence with to enjoy the little moments but be totally aligned and vibe at the same time. Special if you ask me
Gabrielle Antolovic
Gabrielle Antolovic - Bridesmaid
Gabrielle has literally been my BFF since birth! Our families lived across the street from each other on Mallard and we shared a nanny for many years. We truly grew up together and have spent countless holidays, special celebrations and the best vacations together, and consider each others family our own. Ever since we were little, G has always looked out for me (she was always the brave and confident one, while I was shy and scared haha) and continues to be the most amazing friend after all these years. She is encouraging, supportive , loving, adventurous, open-minded, passionate and truly a one in a million.
Kevin Dunham
Kevin Dunham - Groomsmen
Kevdun the One! The man who can recite every Kendrick Lamar song (rehearsal dinner opener for those who haven't had the chance to hear) Kevin also has that presence in the room that people naturally gravitate to. He is one of the smartest/wittiest guys, making him the most naturally funny human individuals i've crossed paths with. (His humor is delivered in milliseconds, no time to think) Kevin is my adventure mentor, guiding Grant and I post Freshman year through the CO wilderness, forever changing the trajectory of my life, his efforts and initiatives have helped me find inner peace at an early age and really turn into a goal oriented individual who will always keep striving in life to reach the top of mountains (Literal and Metaphorical) Seeing his determination, planning, and execution abilities radiated onto me. I will forever thank him for countless character testing experiences and am always excited for what is to come! Having Kevdun as a friend all these years has been a gift and ultimately life changing, whether it's having good convos and laughing, listening to GOOD music, or adventuring somewhere new. Thankful to have him on my corner.
Callie Deen
Callie Deen - Bridesmaid
Callie and I met Freshman year of college at OU through our sorority, and she was the one who invited me to start hanging out with the friend group she had. She might not have known, but that truly changed my college experience and was the biggest blessing. I am so grateful for Cal and the life long best friend I know I’ll have in her. She has brought so much joy, laughter, craziness, honesty and FUN into my life. I always know we’re going to have the best time together acting all weird and goofy, but that she's also someone I can always rely on too. I know we’ll continue to make time for our fun girls trip, lake & ranch weekends, bday celebrations and so much more! I can't wait for the many years of crazy fun memories together ahead.
Reza Askari
Reza Askari - Groomsmen
So infamous he doesn't even need a nickname! Reza's confidence and "Im going to do it, watch me" demeanor is what admire the most. He says it how it is and isn't scared to call out what doesn't add up. We have had countless fun debates about a wide span of topics throughout the years, this has been pivotable in growing my thoughts and voicing it in a well respectful manner. Reza could be one of the best trash talkers while competing, he really knows how to get the people going. (Most times iv'e been on his side so always great to watch) it shows that you can't play nice all the time if you want to succeed (sometimes) Saying all that, that's what I RESPECT about Reza the most, myself as a naturally easy going person, it is easy to let people walk over you at times, but it's important to step up and voice your opinion like Reza does. Reza is also a true brother, during my college days I would always call him to catch up on life during my commute from Arlington to Dallas (9/10 times he would always pick up), little do friends know that some of the craziest/most fun weekends were planned during those calls. Reza and I share too many things to list them off, I could hang for days keeping my brain engaged, a naturally interesting person. I am fortunate to have a force like Reza in my life (I am sure all friends agree) But even more fortunate to have a caring & empathetic friend.
Lauren Bray
Lauren Bray - Bridesmaid
Lo and I met Freshman year in nutrition (also in same sorority) and I was so intimidated by her at first because I thought she was soo cool. If you know Lauren though, you know she’s the sweetest and most down to earth person. We eventually became best friends going into Sophomore year, where we then lived together in Kappa + senior year in a house. She has truly been a light in my life and my go-to for so many things. So many of my core memories the past few years have Lo in them, so it’s no surprise she’s one of my favorite friends. She is a listening ear and the most encouraging, reliable, trustworthy, silly, hype girl of a best friend. I know we’ll be cheering each other on the next 50+ years, making the best memories along the way!
Garisen Fezzey
Garisen Fezzey - Groomsmen
Fezzy! In retrospect, 4 years ago I would not have thought you would be standing by my side, but we have had such an amazing flourishing friendship unfold in those years. However, Looking back we have great memories together all this time since the day we met through mutual friends. Gary can literally talk to anyone, not only that, but strangers go out of their way to approach him. He gives off that energy at all times. Gary and I bond through music (Shredding), food (Cheffing), culture, hot takes(Bi-partisan), kindness, humor, and living in the moment. When I need help, I know I can count on Gary for his help/support, the man is allergic to flaking and that speaks volume. A true connoisseur of life, and even during the simple times, I feel like I am living to the fullest with his mindset and energy around. Like most of my friends, Gary is true family at this point, I know he has my best interest in life (vice-versa) and that is why I am honored that he will be on my side during one of life's biggest stages.
Lovell Cox
Lovell Cox - Bridesmaid
Lovell and I met in 4th grade when she moved to Texas from Missouri. We became friends pretty quickly, as her mom would invite us girls over after school with all the best snacks. When I think of childhood, I think about so many of the dress up parties (IYKYK), sporting games, car rides (whether in the mini van, orange vintage car, Prius or convertible haha) and just post-school snacks at the Cox’s and it’s crazy to think how boring those years could have been if Lovell hadn’t moved here. I am so grateful for our friendship all of these years and that we’ve continued to bond over running, a love for travel, celebrating BIG and all things weddings. She is one of the most creative, talented, weirdly funny people I know and I’m so glad I have a Lovell in my life!
Annmarie Vincenzo
Annmarie Vincenzo - Bridesmaid
Ann has been my sunshine girl since freshman year of high school and someone I know i’ll always be smiling around! We instantly clicked when we met because we were similar in so many ways and had the same thoughts. I’ve always cherished our heart to hearts over the years (a lot of which used to be about boys) and know she’ll just get me. Ann is 100% herself…honest, silly, energetic & full of life and it’s something I admire most about her. I’m so thankful she lives in Dallas and that we’ve continued to make so many memories together, and now are boyfriends are even friends and hang too. I can’t wait for all the fun times our group is going to continue to have, over the years ahead!
