How It started:
A door was opened. There she was. Tall , beautiful, wearing a blue dress and gold jewelry. This was a fantastic start to a party.

Our mutual friends Ben and Katie were hosting their own engagement party in September of 2014. When we first met it was Kevin answering the door to let Jenny in to the party. As Kevin tells the story, it was a feeling that he would never forget. This was going to be a great party. We mingled, ate, drank and had a pool party with some of our closest friends celebrating. We talked through the day getting to know each other. As the day turned in to night, Jenny decided it was time for her to head home. She was fresh off an international flight, after all. Kevin offered to walk Jenny to her car. (There is a lot of crime in the Charlotte suburbs, so of course, Kevin had to make sure she was safe!) Knowing that he would not be able to see Jenny again for such a long period of time, as he was living in California, Kevin went in for a kiss. Jenny respectfully declined.

Wedding Crashers!

It was a long 8 months waiting for May to come around. Kevin and Jenny did not see each other for the 8 months leading up to their friends wedding in May. Kevin went back to his job in Sonoma, Jenny was working and traveling out of Charlotte. Kevin was the best man and Jenny a bridesmaid. At this point, our friends were actively working to make sure we were seated and paired together for wedding festivities (Thank you Ben and Katie!). After the rehearsal dinner party, Jenny decided it was her turn to go in for a kiss. Kevin did not decline!

Since that kiss, we have talked every day since. We have shared a remarkable journey together. Jenny took a chance to move cross country after a weekend in San Francisco visiting Kevin. We have shared so many incredible experiences since that kiss. We have had road trips driving the coast of California and road trips driving a European car through the craziest streets of Italy. We have created so many memories together and cannot wait to create even more memories on our wedding night celebrating with all of you!
