During this Memorial Day Weekend, you will find festivals, cultural tours, sporting events, arts, and live music throughout the city. Some of our favorite activities are listed below (with links to additional information).
If you are staying downtown, most of everything can be accessed by the free-to-ride Cincinnati Connector Street Car (see “Street Car Info” tab for more details).
We highly recommend walking through the Over-the-Rhine (OTR) area of downtown. Our wedding venue is located on the edge of this historic neighborhood where you will find restaurants, shops, bars, and a huge collection of Urban Italianate architecture. This area also offers brewery tours, mural walks, underground passageway tours, and a public market and beer garden. We recommend starting at Washington Park, walking east, and then walking up-and-down Vine Street.
You can also venture to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, where you will find the world famous Fiona the hippo!
The Reds, founding team of Major League Baseball, will be taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers at home this weekend at Great American Ballpark, located at The Banks sports and entertainment district. There is also an associated team museum and hall of fame directly across from the stadium.
