Introduced via a precarious seesaw back in the early 90’s, Chad has been Joey’s best friend for 30 years. The drummer of their ska band and co-host of the “NOCLIP” video game podcast, Chad has an unrivaled sense of humor that has been honed with Joey for decades. A prolific storyteller, Chad’s magnum opus, “The Best Man Speech,” should be a transformative experience for all.

Joey met Andrew in junior high band and they’ve enjoyed countless adventures ever since. Andrew plays guitar in a ska band and enjoys recording music in his home studio. His other hobbies include bird watching, photography, and supporting local farmers: all skills that will prove invaluable while officiating the wedding.

Andrew and Joey have a foundation of friendship forged in the horn section of their ska band. Andrew works in graphic design and is also co-host of the “NOCLIP” video game podcast. Fun fact: Andrew’s favorite animal is an octopus even though he only has two arms and cannot breathe underwater.

Joey and Daniel (a tour de force trumpeter) also met in band class and have played in a ska band together since high school. Daniel enjoys playing basketball and he and Joey share a mutual admiration of LeBron James and enjoy following the NBA. Daniel now resides in Washington, D.C. But Joey’s tooth that Daniel shot out in 2008 still resides somewhere in rural West Virginia.

Michael is Joey’s brother-in-law, married to his sister Alex in July 2023. Joey and Michael are passionate WVU alumni and sports fans and enjoy partaking in tailgates together. The only thing Michael loves more than Mountaineer football is his prized white loafers (see photo above).

From early morning swim practices to after school zoomies with their sassy dog Mia, these two sisters have only grown closer into adulthood. And although they now live some 2,000 miles apart, that doesn’t stop Emily from calling Jenny for some last-minute, late night fashion advice.

Jenny met Mary on the swim team at Saint Francis University. A native of Western PA, Mary has a zest for life and brand of humor that is truly unmatched. Swim team training trips, Walk the Moon concerts, and car ride phone calls that can literally last hours, Jenny and Mary share a special bond. Mary - can we count on you to “Shut Up and Dance” at the reception?

Jenny’s oldest childhood friend, Courtney has been a constant in Jenny’s life since elementary school. Activities often involved Girl Scout outings, marathon cookie baking sessions, or hanging out at Easton. Courtney - after successfully fulfilling your wedding duties, you will earn one last badge (no Thin Mint sales required).

Stav and Jenny have been friends since high school. They have many common interests, including international travel and trying new foods. They also enjoy sharing brutally honest reviews of movies, restaurants, and fashion. Stav - would you rate our wedding as great, incredible, or spectacular?

Alex is Jenny’s future in sister-in-law and Joey’s younger sister. While Joey & Jenny’s relationship has blossomed, so too have Jenny & Alex built a beautiful friendship. They enjoy family gatherings together, especially instigating their significant others when that friendly game of Yahtzee inevitably gets hyper competitive.
