Hotel Riu Palace Aruba
Wedding guests can book their stay at the Hotel RIU Palace directly on the hotel's website, through hotel booking sites such as Booking.com or CheapCarribean.com, or through a travel agent.
Our guests MUST stay at the RIU hotel per the wedding policy. If any exception need to be made then please let us know.
TIP: Join RIU's free rewards program called RIU Class to receive 10-40% off room rates. RIU Class offers special promotions that vary throughout the year. We encourage you to book your room immediately, then check the RIU Class website periodically to see if they are offering a better promotion. If they do, you can book the better rate and then cancel your old reservation. Click HERE to join RIU Class.
If you book directly through RIU, you can cancel your hotel reservation up to 3 days before arrival at no cost.
AIR TRAVEL
Airfare can be booked directly through airlines, discount travel websites, or through a travel agent. PASSPORTS are required to travel Aruba. If you do not have a passport or if your passport is up for renewal, we recommend you begin the passport process as soon as possible as it can take several weeks to obtain a valid passport.
You will need to get your ED CARD at least 7 days prior to your visit and show upon arrival. I just take a picture of it on my phone if you aren't going to active your international cell phone plan. The website is listed below.
Prior to arriving in Aruba, all travelers are required to complete the embarkation/disembarkation (ED) card: https://edcardaruba.aw/
As of July 1, 2024, all tourists must pay a $20 sustainability fee. This fee is collected when completing the ED card.
When you depart Aruba, please give yourself 2-3 hours before your flight to get through Aruba's customs, security, and U.S. customs. U.S. customs is done at Aruba's airport, so your flight will land in the U.S. as a domestic flight.
TRANSPORTATION
If you book through the hotel's website directly, or through a travel agent, complimentary transportation to and from the airport is provided.
