Important Announcements

Queh Queh: August 18, 2022 - Venue & Time Available

The venue and time for the Queh Queh has been published and shared with our honored guests. If you have not received the details for the Queh Queh contact Althea or Andrea.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Your health and safety are priorities. We will be following New York State COVID-19 Guidelines. So, be prepared to mask-up, if required. Please also plan to take a COVID test no less than 48 hours prior to the wedding date and another, the day of your arrival. We want you and all of our honored guests to celebrate knowing that maximum precautions are taken.

RSVP - IS REQUIRED

Please RSVP by July 9, 2022. You may RSVP online using this site under the "RSVP Page". For online RSVPs, check box marked "Send me an RSVP" and your response will automatically be sent to the couple. There is no need to enter an email address or phone number. At the end of the online RSVP process you will receive message stating "All set". You may also mail the RSVP card included in your invitation to the address specified. Please contact us if you have any difficulties to RSVP. If we do not hear from you by this date, we will assume you will not be attending and will remove you from the guest list.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Yes, dress to impress! We ask that you wear formal attire. So break out your best. This is not a t-shirt, jeans or sneakers affair.

WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?

The ceremony and reception will be held at the same location - The Fox Hollow.

WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOOR OR OUTDOOR?

The ceremony will be outdoor in the Fox Hollow's Garden and the reception will be indoor in the Wintergarden Pavilion.

WHAT WOULD THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN AUGUST?

Think very hot and humid. Temperatures on Long Island during the summer usually range from a low 66 degrees and can get into the high 90s.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please arrive on-time, which is 15 - 20 minutes before the Hospitality hour which starts at 12 noon.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

FREE valet parking is available onsite at the Fox Hollow and will be available for our honored guests.

DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR GUESTS? WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND I STAY?

We do! Our hotel block is at the Holiday Inn - Plainview New York. Please visit our "Accommodations & Travel Page" for more information and additional accommodation recommendations.

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED TO/FROM THE HOTEL?

We will not provide a shuttle service or other transportation between the ceremony/reception and the hotel. We encourage you to use Uber/Lyft, taxis or carpool. Please visit our "Accommodations & Travel Page" for more information and travel recommendations.

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

We would like to invite everyone but regrettably we are unable to do so. If your guest's name is not on the invitation or you do not have a 'Plus One' on your invitation, it is a no from us. We have included on your RSVP card the number of seats reserved for your party and have planned accordingly.

CAN I TAKE AND/OR POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

This is an unplugged event. We invite you to be fully present. Kindly turn your cell phones and cameras off and enjoy this special moment with us. We have retained the services of professional photographers and will share photos of the event with you and all our honored guests and families. So, we ask that you do not take or post pictures of the bride and groom on social media.

ARE THERE OTHER WEDDING EVENTS I CAN ATTEND?

Yes, we will have a Guyanese style "Queh Queh" on Thursday, August 18, 2022. All of our honored guests are invited and may attend. We will post additional details about the Que Que on the "Important Announcements" page of this site as we get closer to the date.

WHERE ARE YOU REGISTERED?

In lieu of physical gifts, we welcome with much appreciation monetary gifts, via our Knot Registry.

MAY I TAKE A CENTERPIECE/CANDLES AS A SOUVENIR?

No, you may not.
