The Rocquaine Regatta has become a tradition in the Cobb family & one of Jim's very few requests was for the wedding to be the day before the annual event! We'd love to carry on the festivities with all our loved ones who wish to come see what it's all about! As our debut as Mr & Mrs Cobb we'll be partaking in one of the first events of the day - The Raft Race - usually kicks off around 10:30/11 & we'd love to see some of you down there to cheer us on, hopefully not too hungover... we'll either be the very slow ones or the ones swimming due to a sunken raft. After this the day is what you make it! Lots of different events going on throughout the day, we'll share these with you once it's announced. Feel free to get set up on the beach for the day with a picnic & some bevs, there will be food stalls & drinks to purchase if needed! Please bear in mind the seafront road will be closed all day, highly recommend using the bus or pre booking a taxi to get you back to your homes / hotels! If you have any relatives or friends coming over to babysit on the day of the wedding, they are more than welcome to come along (it's a public event anyway!)
