Sometimes it can work out cheaper to book through these companies which include travel & accommodation:

Getting to Guernsey

There's a few different options to get you to Guernsey which we've popped down below:

By air

Aurigny

Blue Islands

Please note:

- Aurigny charge for hold baggage whereas with Blue Islands you get 23kg hold baggage included. Please check your cabin bag sizes on each website as we've been caught out before!

- Please only book directly through the above websites - other websites (skyscanner etc) do not work out cheaper & risk of scams!

By sea

Condor Ferries

Travel from either Portsmouth or Poole, by car or by foot.

Getting around Guernsey

We're a bit behind the times here, there's no uber so we do have to use old school taxi's & buses to get around. Here's some helpful tips & links to help you plan your trip:

Car

Bringing your car over on the ferry will give you the freedom to get out & about to see this beautiful island, but please be mindful the roads are much narrower here than on the mainland with lots of granite walls... watch out for granite rash!

Car hire

Here's a useful link with all the available suppliers on the island.

Taxi

We have some recommended taxi drivers:

Chris Mason: 07781 163994

Glen Pontin: 07781 154254

Bonzo's: 07781 447820

Bus

Guernsey has a great bus service, with a planner & live tracker - if you need help with any road names or routes, give Jess Cobb a call! 07781 459348

Where to stay

Premier Inn Guernsey

Not always the cheapest option on island so please do look at other hotels. A little out of the way from the festivities but you'll be in the perfect location to venture into town & hop on the boats to the other islands.

Les Douvres Hotel

One of Faye's favourite pubs tucked away in the lanes. A little harder to get to but in walking distance to some beautiful bays & cliff walks.

Cobo Bay Hotel & The Beach Terrace

The closest hotel you'll get to a beach which will hopefully treat you to some beautiful sunsets.

The Farmhouse Hotel and Restaurant

Close to the airport. A little harder to get around from here by foot, but there's a bus stop right outside.

Camp de Reves Glamping

If you're wanting something a little different, we can't recommend the glamping sites enough - with the best views over Rocquaine. Great if you want to join up with people for the 6 man safari tents but minimum stay is 5 nights (cost pp for the whole 5 nights would be £220)

The Old Government House Hotel & Spa

The only 5 star hotel on island, best location for in town & easy enough to catch the bus or get a taxi!

Fermain Valley Hotel

On the outskirts of town but again easy bus route! Also has one of the most beautiful bays on it's doorstep!
