Q + A

Transportation on the wedding day - English guests

For our guests coming from the mainland:

On the wedding day we'll be sorting pick up points (as near to your hotels as possible) to get you to the ceremony & then on to the reception venue.

The coaches will then be picking you up from the venue at 23:45 to take you back to the same pick up points.

If you are bringing your car over & driving, please see below.

Transportation on the wedding day - Guernsey guests

For our Guernsey guests:

Please make your own way to the ceremony venue. We will then have coaches to take you from the ceremony on to the reception venue.

We will have coaches taking the English guests back to specific drop off points, depending on numbers we may be able to accommodate others but this will be sorted nearer the time.

If driving, please see below.

Parking on the wedding day

If you're wanting to drive to the wedding please be aware there is limited parking along the seafront.

There will be a field available for parking near the reception, which will be signposted. You can leave your car here overnight if needed. Please collect next day out of respect for our lovely hosts.

Are children invited?

You know we absolutely adore your little ones (& big little ones), but we've decided not to have children join us on our wedding day.

However, we'd love them to join us on the Saturday & Sunday events!

Let us know if you need any help finding local babysitters. If you are bringing relatives with you to look after them whilst you're with us on our wedding day, we would love for them to also join us for the Saturday & Sunday.

Useful info for travelling to Guernsey

The reciprocal Healthcare Arrangement with the UK, came into effect 1st Jan 2023. Now allows necessary healthcare to be provided to UK residents (repatriations are not covered)

Please look into travel insurance to ensure you're covered for any travel disruptions.

What shall I wear?

The wedding day

Smart summer wedding attire. We only ask that you stay clear of white & green.

You will have a bit of a walk to get to the reception venue & it will include uneven terrain, advice would be to avoid the stiletto heels!

The Regatta

If your planning on popping down to see what the regatta is all about be prepared for walking up & down the beach & the road to see all the activities! Swimsuits if you fancy a dip!

Sunday Hog Roast

No dress code! Bring a jumper in case it gets a little chilly. Another chance for a sea swim & maybe a game of rounders!
