Joe and Becca consider themselves to be very lucky. They met in 3rd grade and have been close friends ever since, eventually becoming highschool sweethearts. Over the years, they've built a life together and have experienced a number of milestones including purchasing their first home and rescuing their dog, Hoss, only a month after moving in! They cannot wait to FINALLY get married and make it official with all their loving family and friends beside them!

It all happened on 7/2/15, their 9-year anniversary! Becca had just returned earlier that evening from a business trip in San Francisco, both exhausted and a little overwhelmed. They were leaving the following morning to head down to the Cape to celebrate the 4th of July so there was still a lot left on her to-do list: clean the house, pack, etc. The second she walked in the door, Joe and Hoss greeted her and nearly a minute after, Joe said "I have a surprise for you" and pointed out the window toward their garden. When Becca looked, she saw a stone bench they'd been wanting perfectly placed in the mulch. Joe suggested they go check it out and once in the garden, he told Becca to sit and test the bench out, to which she inspected the bench and replied: "No, my butt will get dirty!" Sure enough when she turned around, Joe was proposing (with the box and ring facing himself) on his knee, asking, "Rebecca Ann, do you finally want to become Becca B?"

From there, it was a whirlwind of emotions! Within 30 minutes, the soon-to-be Barriles had all their closest family and friends over to celebrate. There was no better time to propose than on their anniversary and the day before a vacation together.
