Aside from your garden-variety Ubers and Lyfts, there are some unique Miami-specific transportation options available for you:

🚎There is a FREE Miami Beach trolley (cute Carolina blue trolleys!) that loops to/from North Beach & South Beach. The citywide trolley service currently operates 15 hours a day, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., 7 days a week at approximately 20-minute average service frequency along each route. They have an app to track the trolleys in real time (click the hyperlink), and there's even a stop right outside our loft!

🚢Hop on board the new Water Taxi to travel between Miami Beach and downtown Miami – without the traffic! The water taxi operates daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. except during the hours of 2-3 p.m. to accommodate a shift change. The vessel departs from Maurice Gibb Memorial Park every hour on the half hour commencing at 7:30 a.m. and departs the Venetian Marina & Yacht Club every hour on the hour starting at 8 a.m. The trip takes approximately 18 minutes each way. 🚲The Citi Bike program is operated by DECOBIKE LLC and is Miami and Miami Beach's official bike sharing and rental system. The Citi Bike program is intended to provide locals and visitors with an additional transportation option for getting around the city. Bike sharing is fun, efficient, and convenient.

The solar-powered bike sharing system consists of a fleet of specially designed, sturdy, very durable bikes that are locked into a network of docking stations sited at regular intervals around a city.

With 160+ station locations, bikes are available to use 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There are two distinct ways to utilize the Citi Bike program, either as a Bike Share Membership or an Hourly Rental (click hyperlink for all the details)
