Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by July 15th, 2025 so we can have an accurate headcount.

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately, we are unable to extend invites for plus ones, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

While we adore your little ones, this is an adult only affair.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?

To make your transportation hassle-free, we have organized shuttle services between recommended accommodations (see Lodging section) and the wedding venue. Shuttles will run at regular intervals, ensuring you can enjoy the celebration without any worries. Another reliable option would be ride-hailing apps like Grab and Gojek.

What will the weather be like?

October in Bali brings warm tropical weather, averaging around 27-31°C (81-88°F). While it's generally sunny, October marks the start of the rainy season, so there might be brief afternoon of evening showers. We recommend light, breathable clothing, and don't worry—most rains are short-lived, and we'll have a backup plan just in case. Looking forward to celebrating with you in paradise!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place outdoors, while the after-party will be held indoors.

What should I wear?

Ladies: Flowy gowns, satin midi dresses, or cocktail dresses in neutral or earthy tones (think soft shades of champagne, greens, mauve, and cabernet/wine). Elegant accessories and comfortable heels or wedges are recommended for navigating the terrain. Gentlemen: Neutral-colored suits, dress shirts, or trousers paired with blazers. Ties are optional, but polished and refined attire is encouraged. Dress to impress! ;)

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Heads up! Stilettos won’t be your best friend on the grass, so we recommend skipping those. Bring some comfy shoes for dancing later—we want you to have fun! Just a note: flip-flops aren’t allowed!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony. During the ceremony, please stow away your cellphones/cameras and enjoy this special moment with us!

Is there a hashtag for the wedding?

Though our I Do's are unplugged, our reception is not. Feel free to capture and share as many moments during the reception with our hashtag.... #MarriedInBalYee2025

A note on gifts

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if it is your wish to bless us with a gift, we would greatly appreciate a monetary contribution to our future together, or you can surprise us in your own special way.

Whom should I call with questions?

Feel free to let us, or our wedding planner, Elisabeth, know if you have any questions. Elisabeth (Avavi Bali Weddings): avavibali@gmail.com or +62 81 27 328 1111 (Mobile/WhatsApp)
