On a sunny June day a few of John’s friends invited Hope’s friends to join them for a day on the lake. Everyone got along and had a great time swimming, chatting, and enjoying the Madison summer. Hope and John hit it off when they realized they both studied abroad in Spain and loved to travel.

A couple months went by when their friends decided to go on another boating trip. When they were about to part ways Hope asked John if he wanted to go get a pizza. The rest is history. They enjoyed their Domino’s pizza that night, and John asked Hope on a first date of her choosing. So, of course they ended up back on the water paddle boarding and hammocking.

Hope and John had countless dates trying new restaurants and having wine and cheese nights. They began traveling the world and meeting each other’s families. Three years later they moved in together, brought little Indy into the family, and started searching for the next step beyond Madison. In August 2023 Hope and John accepted an offer with Epic to relocate to Europe and got engaged!
