Jordan and David met while working at Michigan Medicine in 2021 during a fire drill, though only one of the two recalls this encounter. Thankfully, not long after, they were assigned to work an extremely difficult case together. One thing led to another, aka a coffee date during which they shared details of crazy life experiences and graduate school suffering, which somehow lasted six hours and was cut short by the clock. While six hours seems like a long time, they found that there was still so much more to discuss, which led to several day-long adventures filled with donuts, storytelling, laughing, fantastic food, music, and deep discussions about faith, morals, and future plans. Before they knew it, they were going on memorable vacations, adventurous dates, hikes, exploring their love of cooking, candles (single-handedly keeping Bath and Body Works in business), having dance parties anywhere there was music, and so much more. They have learned and grown through every experience, the good and the challenging, and have come out the other side stronger. This even included two initial proposal attempts and navigating a surprise costume 10k race on the successful proposal day (David thinks she was worth it)!

Although Jordan and David have experienced quite a bit of life in their few years together, they know that this is just the beginning and are excited to see all that God has in store for them. They are excited to start the next chapter of their lives together and look forward to doing so with all of the love and support from their family and friends!
