Where should gifts be sent?

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We kindly request that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as it will be an "unplugged" ceremony. Feel free to take as many photos as your heart desires during the reception!

Can I mail in my RSVP card or should I RSVP online?

For organization purposes, please submit your RSVP via the wedding website.

By what date should I RSVP?

We kindly request that you submit your RSVP by Sunday, July 21st.

Is smoking allowed?

The venue and grounds are non-smoking, so we kindly request that all guests refrain from smoking.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitations.

Are children invited?

While we love your children, we kindly request this be an adult-only wedding. We hope that you can enjoy the event child free!

What is the address of the wedding ceremony and reception venue?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at 5052 M-66, Charlevoix, MI 49720. The ceremony will take place outside at the Knight's Courtyard and the reception will take place indoors at the Knight's Castle. The venue is all one level and is wheelchair accessible.

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Yes, there is ample parking within walking distance at the wedding venue.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

There are limited reserved room blocks at The Earl of Charlevoix and the Charlevoix Inn and Suites. There are also several additional options (e.g., hotels, Airbnb, etc.) close to the wedding venue. Please see the Travel page of our wedding website for further information.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

There are not shuttles available, though most options are relatively close to the wedding venue.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Options will include chicken or fish, though for guests who have dietary restrictions, there will also be a vegetable risotto alternative. Just be sure to indicate that preference when you RSVP on the wedding website.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Please plan to be seated approximately 20 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, which starts at 5:00pm.
