The East Kootenays are home to a beautiful wine region, the Creston Valley. Located a 1.5 hour drive from Kimberley, we invite you to join us on a day trip to Creston, B.C, and visit three scenic wineries - Red Bird, Skimmerhorn, and Baillie Grohman. This will be a self-guided tour. We will do our best to arrange carpooling/ transportation so those who wish to drink have a safe ride. Please let us know if you would be interested in driving. Cars to depart Kimberley at 10:30 a.m.

Josh proposed to Mackenzie in the Kimberley Nature Park - the largest municipal park in British Columbia, right on our doorstep. We spend many hours in the Nature Park, mountain biking, hiking, and trail running, and we'd love to share this special place with you. Join us for a moderate, 4k-ish hike/walk to Sunflower Hill, for views of the St Mary River and the Rocky Mountains. If you're lucky, you might even see a moose or a black bear! We recommend you wear sunscreen and bug spray. This is a relatively accessible hike, though a base level of fitness is required. We'll bring the bear spray. *Weather dependent

In lieu of post-wedding brunch, we invite you to join us for a float down a scenic mountain river on inner tubes! This lazy river float will take 3-4 hours, and is suitable and safe for all. We will provide mimosas and Caesars to cure those hangovers. Slap on your sunscreen, and join us for a fun day on the water! *Weather dependent
