Don't let the gas station exterior fool you, Stoke is our favourite spot to grab juices, sandwiches, coffees, healthy snacks, fresh local produce, and the best sourdough in town.
If you're wanting to head further afield for an unforgettable experience, Island Lake Lodge offers incredible dining nestled in the Rocky Mountains. About a 1.5 hour drive from Kimberley.

Visit our quaint farmer's market on a Thursday night, right next to the Platzl.
Walk, run, or rent a bike at Bootleg Bike Co. and ride the cruisy, 100% paved Rails to Trails, a pathway that runs 25km from Kimberley to Cranbrook.
For a relaxed, easy venture into nature, head to the beautiful Marysville Falls for a fully paved, 15 minute walk.
The walk to the Tea Hut is a nice 10k, easy hike.
Go to the ski hill, in the summer! If you want to subject yourself to a unique form of torture, climb the ski hill for views of Kimberley and the Rocky Mountains. Try to beat Matt Taylor's winning time of 23 minutes up.
Go on an adventure! Find even more hidden gems and activities within driving distance.
Take a 25 minute drive out of town to head to a scenic Canadian lake. Pack a picnic, your togs/ bathing suit, maybe even a canoe!
Take an hour long drive on the highway, then a forest logging road (you'll need a high-clearance vehicle and a confident driver) to visit natural hot springs.
For a more easily accessed hot spring option, head to Fairmont Hot Springs - just over an hour's drive from Kimberley.
For mountain views with no hike needed, venture to Panorama Mountain Resort for a ride on the gondola. Just an hour's drive from Kimberley.
We love to paddleboard here! Take a 30 minute drive and enjoy a classic Canadian lake.
