When is your wedding?

Important first question. Our wedding will be held on Saturday July 19th, 2025.

Where is your wedding?

The beach! But seriously, our wedding will be held in two places. First, our ceremony will be at St. Mary of the Pines in Manahawkin, NJ at 1:30pm ET and last approximately one hour. Second, our reception will be at Bonnet Island Estate in Manahawkin, NJ. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30pm ET, with a reception to follow at 6:30pm ET, and finally, an after party on-site at 10:30pm ET. Addresses for both can be found on our homepage.

I see two St. Mary's Churches in your area, which is yours?

Great eyes! St. Mary's Parish does indeed have two churches. One is in Barnegat, one is in Manahawkin. Our ceremony will be held at St. Mary of the Pines in Manahawkin. Please be sure you have the right address, or you may be celebrating someone else's wedding day.

What do I wear?

When in doubt, your Sunday best. Our wedding attire is Black Tie Optional, meaning, wear your most formal option if you'd like (tux or evening gown), or pick out your favorite suit or cocktail dress for the occasion.

Can my kids come?

The grown up ones can (if they're invited)! For the little ones, we unfortunately cannot host them at our reception. Thank you for your understanding.

Is there transportation provided to and from St. Mary of the Pines for the ceremony?

No. We recommend driving, hitching a ride, or Ubering to and from the church. There is plenty of parking on-site despite the carnival happening at night all weekend (fun sentence to write). Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony starting.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED TO AND FROM Bonnet Island for the reception?

Yes! We will have shuttles from three of our room-blocked hotels (Holiday Inn Manahawkin, Hotel LBI, Drifting Sands). These shuttles will rotate every 15 minutes or so to ensure you're arriving before the festivities start. We will have more information on exact timing as the day moves closer. Shuttles will also be provided following the reception and throughout the after party to the three hotels. You may also drive and park at Bonnet Island Estate.

Can I utilize the shuttles if I am not staying at one of the three hotels?

Absolutely! No room key required to board. You'll just have to find a way to get there and back.

Can I take pictures and videos during your ceremony?

While we love your iPhone photos as much as the next person, please refrain from using your phone during the mass. We have hired a professional photographer to capture all of our moments and will be eager to share with you all following the day.

Can I take pictures and videos during everything else?

We'd be insulted if you didn't! Snap and share as you please.

Is your wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both? Our ceremony will take place inside St. Mary's church. Our cocktail hour will take place in and around Bonnet Island Estate (weather permitting). You are free to roam about the grounds and take in the sights! Our reception will take place inside Bonnet Island Estate.

Will there be traffic during a Jersey Shore summer weekend?

We can't know for sure, but plan to be traveling with a few other sun-seeking cars. Be sure to build in a little buffer before you head out.

Your ceremony is at 1:30pm and your cocktail hour starts at 5:30pm, what do I do in between?

The old Catholic gap! We encourage you to embrace this magical time. Stop by an LBI beach bar, take a drive across the island, sneak in a pre-game nap, hold a mini-party in your hotel room. This time is yours to play with. Have a ball!

But seriously, what should I do with that time?

We're glad you asked. We recommend the following options to soak in the time before ceremony and cocktail hour. 1) Stop for a drink / snack at The Mainland. Complete with both indoor and outdoor options of games and fun, our shuttle will come to pick you up when it's time to go party! 2) Visit The Boatyard and walk over to Bonnet Island Estate. Only a 10 minute walk from our wedding reception, The Boatyard will make the time pass by in a snap! 3) Check into your hotel. If you haven't done so already, this is definitely your chance!

Anything else going on during the weekend?

There's always stuff going on! For those arriving into town on Friday, July 18th, we will be hosting a Welcome Drinks at Daymark Bar & Restaurant starting at 7:30pm. Light bites and drinks will be provided.

What should I wear to the Welcome Drinks?

Beach Cocktail Attire can come in many forms. Think, going out to a nice dinner on vacation! For men, choose from summer fabrics, like linens or seersuckers, to classic long-sleeve or short-sleeve button downs with pants. For women, a semi-formal dress, a jumpsuit, or dressy separates all are in play! Our only requirement is to come comfortable and colorful to enjoy celebrating the night before.

Is there transportation provided to the Welcome Drinks?

Yes! Daymark Restaurant + Bar is on the most northern tip of Long Beach Island. To ensure all guests arrive and leave safely, we will have shuttles transporting to and from our blocked hotels. More details on timing to be announced.

Are you both excited?

If you've gotten to this point on the page, we're excited for YOU. Yes, we are both over the moon to celebrate this special day with each and every one of you and thank you for wanting to join us in this next chapter of our lives. Cheers to July 19th, 2025!
