You can visit any of LBI's beaches. Grab a beach chair and chill for a few hours or the day! You will need a daily beach pass, but can usually purchase them at the entrance to the beach. Don't worry, if you don't see someone selling them, they will find you (and if they don't then it's a lucky day!).
Barnegat Lighthouse State Park is located at the northern tip of LBI. The lighthouse is commonly referred to as Ol' Barney and has been an island icon for over a hundred years. Visit the park's museum, walk the jetty, stick your toes in the tide pools, hike the (short) nature trail, or if you are feeling up to it, climb up to the top of Ol' Barney for an amazing view!
Head to our Welcome Drinks early and visit the lighthouse just feet away!
A visit to Viking Village in Barnegat Light will take you back in time. Located on the northern tip of the island, there are a bunch of cute shops and with a little something for everyone.
Bay Village lies in the heart of the downtown strip in Beach Haven. Here you will find a re-created a 19th century waterfront village with fun shopping, browsing, coffee, mini golf, eating and relishing in all things that are quintessential summertime activities (like fudge and clam chowder!).
Situated between the mainland and the island (just like Bonnet!), The Boatyard is the perfect place to take in an afternoon cocktail and watch the boats come in. They also have games (corn hole, basketball, board games), rental boats, and tons of food / drink options only a short trip from all of our hotels.
Attached to The Holiday Inn Manahawkin, The Mainland is far beyond just a "hotel restaurant". Complete with 3 bars (2 inside, 1 outside), games (corn hole, putting green, arcade), and an adventure park (ropes course, go karts), The Mainland will have you occupied all day and night.
Another great option just off the bridge, The Old Causeway is a comfortable watering hole. Check out their website and ready the origin story for a history lesson!
Nestled in the back of a Manahawkin parking lot, this gem doesn't look like much from the outside. But inside, you'll find some of the most creative beer choices on the main land. Just minutes from the bridge, Manafirkin Brewing Co. is a great stop for a fun beer.
A must-stop every time Julia and TJ are on the island. If coffee isn't your thing, don't worry. The Local Market and Kitchen is no one trick pony. From sandwiches to fresh produce, snacks and juices, sit down or takeout whatever your heart desires.
Located at the northern tip of LBI next to the lighthouse, Daymark is a great spot for dinner or happy hour (4-6, M-F). With live music Thursday - Sunday, Daymark provides a great atmosphere for all.
PLUS, we'll be having our Welcome Drinks here, providing the perfect place to have dinner and journey right upstairs to keep the party going.
Ice cream and the shore? Arguably the second best marriage this weekend has to offer. A quick few minute drive from the bridge, you won't be disappointed.
