Our story starts long before our first date even if we didn’t know it at the time.

We’ve known of each other since high school. We went to the same games, and saw each other at a few parties. But life had its own timing, and our paths didn’t truly cross until years later.

In 2019, everything changed with a simple Instagram DM from Joel thank you, Instagram!

What started as a message quickly turned into long conversations, laughs, and a growing connection. Just a few weeks later, we went on our first official date for ice cream. Something about that night just felt right. It felt easy, exciting, and like we had known each other much longer than we had.

COVID hit not long after, and like many during that time, we found ourselves in a bubble. But for us, it only brought us closer. We were attached at the hip from the beginning binge-watching movies, trying new recipes, making memories out of quiet days and dipping our toes into what started our travel addiction, yes even with the world shut down! That time solidified something special between us.

Since then, we’ve had the chance to grow and build a life together that we’re truly proud of. We have hit huge milestones both individually and as a couple.

Kailea graduated college,Joel has received multiple awards alongside his Mom for their extremely successful Farmers Insurance agency, we purchased multiple homes, and we’ve been fortunate enough to travel to so many of our dream destinations. From tropical beaches to big cities to quiet getaways, our passports and hearts are full.

We’ve also built a little family of our own with our three perfect dogs, Bali, Mazi, and Stormi!

On October 22, 2024, Joel proposed in the most beautiful way, on a sandy beach in Hawaii. It was the most thoughtful moment that reflected everything our relationship stands for: love, intention, and a little bit of travel.

If you know us, you know we balance each other perfectly. Kailea brings the energy, the ideas, and yes always the chaos. Joel is the calm in the storm, always ready to go along for the ride, no matter how spontaneous, wild, or unexpected the adventure may be.

So when Kailea suggested a snowy winter wedding in the mountains of Colorado, Joel was of course on board even if it sounded a little bit crazy!

And now, here we are planning the celebration of a lifetime in a place that feels like something out of a dream.

We’re beyond excited to have all of our favorite people in one place, to celebrate a love that’s grown through seasons of life, and to begin this next chapter surrounded by the ones who have supported us along the way.
