Our story began in November of 2016 when our friend groups happened to come together after both of our collegiate sports seasons concluded. Both our teams were very excited for a night out after a long season. That night, after we were introduced, we started talking and the conversation never stopped. We ended up talking for hours outside on the porch while the party continued around us, but we couldn’t care less. Since that random college party, we have been inseparable. Our similarities were evident from the beginning, as we both preferred quieter nights together watching movies or going out to dinner even as young college sophomores.

Fast forward a few months, and we decided that it was time to define our relationship around Valentine’s Day of 2017. After a few years of figuring life out together, we finally figured it out and took the step of moving from Memphis to Denver to start our life together. It was unfortunately smack in the middle of the COVID pandemic, which was not easy in the slightest, but we knew this was the right path for both of us to grow as a couple.

While we both felt we were ready to take the next step after moving across the country together, we patiently let our lives unfold while remaining steadfast and deeply in love with each other. Finally, in August of 2023, Brenden gathered all our family & friends (unbeknownst to Kat) to her favorite place in the world, her family's Alabama beach house! After surprising her with the most perfect proposal on a gorgeous August night, we then enjoyed a full weekend of laughter and pure joy, celebrating the commitment we made to each other surrounded by all our favorite people.

We decided to prolong our engagement to ensure Kat was finished with nursing school and also to ensure every detail was right for our lovely guests. We are so looking forward to celebrating the culmination of almost 9 years of hard work, laughs, tears, and a whole lot of love with you!

We are both eternally grateful for your love and support. We are so excited to be able to give you all a weekend of fun, food, dancing, and drinks :)
