The dress code is mountain elegant, with an optional black tie. We want our guests to be dressed in their best but to wear shoes that are grass-friendly as our ceremony is outside. Keep in mind the cooler weather in the evening and consider bringing a light jacket and comfortable shoes since the venue has partly outdoors.

The events will be a mix of indoors and outdoors. Some parts will be held outdoors (with a tent for reception), while others will take place indoors. We recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable, as the mountain weather in September can vary throughout the day.


Vail is at about 8,150 feet above sea level. To avoid altitude sickness, stay hydrated, limit alcohol consumption, and take it easy on physical activity for the first day or two.


Yes, Vail is very walkable, and there is a free shuttle service within the town. Many hotels also offer complimentary shuttles. If you’re driving, be aware that parking can be limited in certain areas, especially in the Vail Village. Transportation will be provided to the ceremony and reception sites!
